    Description

    For your consideration, my last and only Columbia winged insulator…. The first one sold for 7, in about the same condition…. I have no others.
    This is a large Aqua, Blue, Green insulator with ears or wings. It is Marked COLUMBIA with the patent date MAY 12TH 1891. I believe it is number 262 and/or #2, but I don't see that stamped anywhere so I'm not sure. To me the condition looks very good, it has not been professionally cleaned as far as I can tell as it still has some residue here and there. There are no exterior chips. I do see 2 tiny notch/chips to the inner skirt rim with some paint residue there as well. There are some "as made" wrinkles in the glass, bubbles in the glass and there are a few tiny stress or annealing fractures in the bottom skirt that does not penetrate to the outside (very shallow - See pics). The bottom of one of the cable holes has a teeny stress fracture… Lots of pictures so PLEASE determine the condition of this item to your satisfaction.
