FRENCH "GINGERBREAD BOY" UNEMBOSSED CD 640 GLASS INSULATOR

Description

For auction is a French CD 640 glass insulator, the classic "gingerbread boy". It's unembossed and has the expected factory grind marks. There is an 1/8"
ding
and a few scratches
on top of the dome, and a 1/4" flake off the bottom of the inside of the skirt
.
The tip of one of the arms has a small internal crack, discernible only by some visible rainbow color where the light is refracted by the crack.
Miscellaneous notes:
I generally evaluate and describe each of my insulators very critically, unlike some sellers who don't adequately describe the condition, have too few photos and use lots of hype. I don't want to be accused of trying to pass off something that it's not. My goal is for every buyer to feel that the insulator looks BETTER in his or her hand than in the photos.
Since last year when there were so many problems with USPS delivery times, I've chosen USPS Priority for shipping. The cost isn't too much more than Parcel Post and buyers have been happy with the fast deliveries.
