Ginori Italy Green & Red Striped Porcelain Insulator U-1602

Description

This porcelain insulator is marked in small letters; "GINORI" on the top.  I think that it is the U-1602 from Italy.  The insulator measures 2 5/8" across the base by 3 1/2" tall.  It has a green stripe and a red stripe near the base.  The insulator is in very near mint + condition with no chips or cracks.  I have researched and found information that an individual added stripes to plain white insulators and sold them on eBay.  Thus I am uncertain if this is original stripes or an add on.  Please bid accordingly on this fun and decorative insulator.  Be sure to view our other eBay auctions.
