HEMINGRAY BLUE CD 310 GLASS SLEEVE POWER INSULATOR

Description

For auction is a CD 310 glass sleeve power insulator
that is designed to always be used under either a CD 303 or a CD 304 insulator. It's 8" tall and 5-1/2" in diameter. It has no embossing, but it's known to be a Hemingray product, and the glass is the expected Hemingray blue in color. Except for some factory roughness on part of the base edge and the same at the top of the neck, it has no flaws. There is however a bit of sooty haze on the inside of the sleeve and the outside of the neck.
Miscellaneous notes:
I generally evaluate and describe each of my insulators very critically, unlike some sellers who don't adequately describe the condition, have too few photos and use lots of hype. I don't want to be accused of trying to pass off something that it's not. My goal is for every buyer to feel that the insulator looks BETTER in his or her hand than in the photos.
Since last year when there were so many problems with USPS delivery times, I've chosen USPS Priority for shipping. The cost isn't too much more than Parcel Post and buyers have been happy with the fast deliveries.
