    Description

    Whitall Tatum Co. Glass Insulator.
    The insulator looks to me to have been produced clear with a dark finish inside and out.  It looks like the finish would have been done at the time of manufacture as it is smooth and even inside and out - but I don't know enough about these things to really now.  Just trying to tell you what I am seeing.
    I have found reference to this exact labeling and numbering below (except it was a small 20 over the "e") and the date range given was 1922-1938.  I have not been able to find any reference to this labeling with the 10 over the "e".
    On bottom rim (one side)  Whitall Tatum Co. W over T inside Triangle
    On bottom rim (opposing side) No. 1. Made in U.S.A
    On bottom rim (opposing side) Over the "e" in Made is a small 10
